Position Summary

Dasmesh Punjabi School is seeking a dynamic educational leader for the role of Vice-Principal (Grades 6–12). The successful candidate will lead with compassion and vision while supporting excellence in teaching, learning, and student development. This is a full-time leadership opportunity for someone ready to make a measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative leadership for Grades 6–12 operations, student management, and staff supervision.
  • Oversee student conduct, attendance, and discipline processes.
  • Collaborate with the Principal to design and implement academic strategies and school improvement plans.
  • Supervise teachers, facilitate professional growth, and conduct evaluations.
  • Support inclusive education and student wellness programs.
  • Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ensure alignment with BC curriculum, assessment practices, and school mission.
  • Coordinate events, assemblies, and extra-curricular initiatives for senior grades.
  • Actively participate in recruitment, admissions, and school marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Master’s preferred)
  • Valid BC Teaching Certificate
  • Minimum 3–5 years of leadership or admin experience in a school setting
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire diverse teams
  • Understanding of data-informed decision-making, curriculum leadership, and student services
  • Familiarity with faith-based independent schools is an asset
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Compensation

  • $80,000 – $110,000 CAD/year
