Our Grade 5 classes visited Tave’s Applebarn and Pumpkin farm in Abbotsford late October. The students had the opportunity to learn about the ripening, sorting and processing of apples, and the amazing life cycle and work ethic of honey bees. After enjoying interaction with the various friendly animals in the petting barn students were treated a fun ride in the pumpkin field where they were able to pick their very own pumpkin! Thank you Apple Barn for an amazing day!
