Here at DPS we truly believe that just as important it is teaching kids, how to eat healthy, equally important it is to show them how to become confident, self-reliant, happy and calm people. Yoga and meditation are a great way for kids to learn this!
We start each day with a 30 minutes Yoga practice for Grades Pre-K to 3, followed by the Morning Assembly. Our experienced Kids Yoga instructor loves to combine creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration to make her classes fun and interactive.
Since the incorporation of the Yoga Program in our School curriculum, we have had incredible results. Our kids are our much calmer, concentrated, self-aware and focused.
